Thompson & Knight Attorney Appointed to DBA Board of Directors
Dallas, Texas - The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to congratulate Partner Scott P. Stolley on his appointment to the Board of Directors of the Dallas Bar Association ("DBA"). His two-year term began on January 20, 2010.
Stolley serves as the Firm's Appellate and Supreme Court Practice Group Leader and is resident in Thompson & Knight's Dallas office. He focuses his practice on the representation of appellants and appellees in state and federal appellate courts, including evaluation of appeals, drafting briefs, and arguing cases to appellate courts. His practice also includes evaluating insurance-coverage issues for policyholders.
Stolley is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar. He is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and Texas Super Lawyers® in Appellate Law.
