MYCON General Contractors Promotes Justin Jeffus to SVP

MYCON has announced that Justin Jeffus, LEED AP, has been promoted to senior vice president. Jeffus has served as vice president of retail services for the last four years and has been with MYCON for more than 13 years, according to Doug Talley, MYCON’s president.

“Justin has contributed significantly to MYCON’s growth and culture. He is highly respected for his leadership skills and his ability to maintain a client-focused attitude while delivering quality, well-managed projects,” says Talley.

As senior vice president, Jeffus will be responsible for directing, completing and achieving positive financial outcomes on projects for the company’s retail clients. He will also oversee multiple project managers in the retail division and act as a mentor to improve their skills and expertise in delivering projects.

During his tenure with MYCON, Jeffus has overseen major multimillion dollar projects for clients such as Walmart, Kroger, IKEA, LA Fitness, Tanger Outlets and Gander Mountain, to name a few.

Jeffus is a Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional (CDP) under the International Council of Shopping Centers criteria and was recognized as a 2014 ICSC Centerbuild 20 Under 40 young professional. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. Jeffus attended Stephen F. Austin University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree.
