C. C. Young To Hold Carry The Torch 5k And Fun Run Benefiting C. C. Young Cares Program For Seniors In Need September 8, 2017

WHAT: Run, don’t walk, to register for C. C. Young’s Carry the Torch 5K and Fun Run set for September 8, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. hosted by former WFAA Sportscaster George Riba. This family-friendly event will begin on C. C. Young’s campus and will take participants on a scenic route through East Dallas. A race shirt, hamburger voucher, and finisher medal for all 5K finishers are included in the registration. Following the race, the party begins with vendors and a DJ for entertainment. Awards will also be given in age group categories and for Overall and Masters Male and Female Finishers. Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards.

Net proceeds from the race will benefit the C. C. Young Cares Program, which provides flash frozen, heart healthy meals for seniors in need throughout the Dallas Metroplex.
