Macke has been selected by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the publication’s 40 Under 40 honorees for 2017. The special publication honors entrepreneurs, executives and professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth business community who are under the age of 40, have achieved significant business success and are poised for notable future achievements.
With 500 eligible contenders, this year’s nominations represented a myriad of industries, regions and careers. According to the publication, nonprofit and philanthropic workers represented the majority of the nominations, with professional services (particularly those in legal roles) and commercial real estate taking second and third, respectively.

Macke, also a partner in Weil’s Dallas office and part of the Tax, Executive Compensation & Benefits Department, focuses his practice on complex tax issues in a wide range of corporate and partnership transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and financing transactions. He also serves as an adviser to many leading, global private equity firms on their most important matters. Macke’s significant experience with private investment funds including leveraged buyout, energy, infrastructure and real estate opportunity funds, has played an integral role in strengthening Weil’s reputation as one of the most prestigious legal service providers.
