No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party Announces 2017 Signature Cocktail

The Warhol is an artful concoction of simplicity and flavor

No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party, presented by The Purple Foundation, is excited to announce the signature cocktail for its 12th annual celebration, The Warhol. The name, inspired by the event’s pop art theme An Artful Life, features Reyka Icelandic Vodka, club soda, and a dash of bitters. The use of three ingredients pays tribute to AIDS Services of Dallas’s 30th Anniversary, the beneficiary of the casually chic gala.

“No Tie is a sensory overload of tastes, sounds, and visuals,” said David Nelson, No Tie Chair. “The simplicity of The Warhol, with Reyka’s distinctive Icelandic taste, is a refreshing complement to the copious amount of delicious desserts generously donated from over 20 of Dallas’s fine eateries.”

The Warhol

1 ½ parts Reyka Icelandic Vodka

4 parts Club Soda

3 dashes Angostura Bitters*

Combine all ingredients into a glass with ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.

*the bitters may be substituted with a flavored bitter, such as Orange Bitters.

Reyka Vodka is made in Iceland’s first vodka distillery, hand crafted in precious small batches. Born of volcanoes and glaciers, vast fields of lava rock, towering waterfalls of spring water and some of the cleanest air in the world, Reyka has a very distinct taste.
