MELVILLE, N.Y. -- Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) announced today the successful completion of its acquisition of Shared Technologies Inc., a leading North American unified communications and managed services provider.
Shared is based in Irving, Texas, and has approximately 1,000 employees. Total sales in 2009 were approximately $250 million. The acquisition is expected to be $.10-$.12 per share accretive to earnings in the first full year of operations.
